A Marriage Prayer

Heavenly Father…how grateful we are for the husbands you have so graciously given us. Father, help us to keep a close guard on this special relationship, making it a top priority in our lives, second only to our relationship with You. Help us to be diligent in taking time for a smile, a word softly spoken, a kiss, a hug, a REAL conversation. Father, we ask that you keep us focused, despite the trials of our day or the busyness of our homes, on being the wives You call us to be. Help us to keep our husbands lifted daily to You. We pray that this most special, most intimate relationship will prosper under Your guidance and care. In Jesus’ name…Amen.
